The feel of this house is one of happy, lazy days at the beach, toasty sunburns, a comfy respite where you can put your feet up on the furniture, crisp linens, sweet tea, and sunshine daydreams! Imagine your grandmothers beach house...

I was built in the 1940's by Monsignor MacNamara from the materials he salvaged from an old demolished catholic school in Savannah. The Monsignor built me for his mother, but she passed away before ever visiting. Instead, the local nuns came out and used the upstairs as a retreat in earlier decades. In later years, the McNamara family used the house as a family beach house until my current owner bought me in 1995. I am cozy, relaxed and decorated in an appropriate vintage style. You will want to come back summer after summer to this wonderful getaway!
